This certificate programme introduces students to the legal rules governing business activity and salaried employment in Quebec. Over 30 credits, students study the foundations of Quebec law, including contracts, corporate structures, employment relationships, and commercial obligations, and learn to apply legal reasoning to real business situations through case-based analysis. The curriculum connects factual scenarios to their legal consequences, building skills useful for roles in management, human resources, and business administration where a working knowledge of business and labour law is required. The programme is offered part-time on the Gatineau campus and leads to a first-cycle Certificate. Admission is possible with a college diploma (DEC), with prior university credits, or on the basis of relevant work experience, and intake occurs in the Fall, Winter, and Summer terms.
