The Bachelor's in Career Counselling (Orientation) is a 90-credit, three-year full-time program focused on how individuals and groups develop and function within educational and occupational contexts. Students study the school system and the world of work in depth while developing helping-relationship skills. The curriculum requires a background in statistics and psychology. Graduates are prepared to accompany individuals through educational and professional transitions, working in counselling, guidance, and advisory roles across schools, employment services, businesses, and community organizations. Some courses are offered in distance, hybrid, or comodal formats. The program admits students in the Fall and Winter terms.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Quebec applicants need any DEC diploma. Applicants from other Canadian provinces need a secondary school diploma plus one year of university study with a satisfactory background in statistics and psychology. International applicants need a 13-year pre-university diploma, or 12 years plus one year of higher education, with demonstrated competency in statistics and psychology. Non-francophone applicants must score at least 400/699 on the mandatory TCF-TP sections and at least 10/20 on the written expression component.
