Admission requires a bachelor's degree in counselling/guidance or a related field with at least 30 relevant credits in the humanities or social sciences, plus a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 out of 4.33. Full-time study takes approximately two years, with flexible pacing available outside the practicum component. Graduates are prepared to practise as professional counsellors in schools, community organizations, career centres and workplaces, guiding clients through educational, career and personal transitions.

Non-francophone applicants must score at least 400/699 on the TCF with 10/20 or higher on written expression, or complete an approved French course with a grade of C or higher. English is not required for admission, though the ability to understand English texts is expected for success in the program.
