This bachelor's programme draws on the six disciplines taught in Universite Laval's Departement des sciences historiques: history, ethnology, art history, archival science, archaeology, and museology. Unique in Quebec, it lets students study the foundations of historical science and heritage studies while specialising to actively enter the cultural-heritage field. The 90-credit curriculum combines coursework with practical field experience, preparing graduates for careers in museums, archives, heritage organisations, and cultural institutions. Delivery is primarily on campus at Universite Laval. The programme runs over three years of full-time study and leads to a Bachelor of Arts.
