The Certificate in Management - Management for Managers at Université Laval is designed for students already occupying a management position or management-related role. It covers management functions including innovation, negotiation, planning, coordination, direction and control, using a hybrid teaching approach that lets students apply what they learn directly in their workplace. Up to 15 credits of prior learning may be recognized toward the certificate. Classes are delivered in hybrid mode, with in-person or virtual-classroom attendance required on average only once a month, and the programme is offered on a part-time basis only. Admission requires that the applicant hold a management position or be in a management situation; Quebec DEC holders, applicants from the rest of Canada with a secondary diploma plus one year of university study, and international applicants with an equivalent pre-university credential may apply, alongside the management-role requirement. Non-francophone applicants must meet the university's French-language requirement. The certificate admits students in the Fall and Winter terms.
