This professional Master of Architecture (M. Arch.) builds on undergraduate architectural training and prepares graduates to practise responsibly while addressing complex architectural problems. The curriculum covers physical ambiances, urban design, heritage requalification, digital fabrication, and architectural theory, and emphasizes a research-creation approach. Students complete essay-project coursework culminating in either a written thesis or a final design project. The programme totals 45 credits, is designed for full-time completion in about two years, and requires full-time enrolment during the first two sessions. Up to 16 credits may be recognized from prior learning. Graduates are prepared to practise architecture professionally in Quebec and beyond.
