This master's programme trains students to report the news accurately and rigorously, with particular attention to international and scientific issues. It combines communication theory with practical journalism training delivered through coursework, seminars and hands-on work using the faculty's newsroom, student newspaper and radio and television facilities. The programme totals 45 credits and is normally completed over two years of full-time study. Most courses are delivered on campus, with some offered at a distance, in hybrid format, or comodally. Admission is offered for the fall term only. It leads to a Master of Arts in public communication with a journalism concentration, preparing graduates for careers in print, broadcast, digital and multimedia journalism.
