Overview

This bachelor of arts program (90 credits, three years full-time) prepares communicators specializing in journalism, social advertising, or public relations. The curriculum combines theoretical instruction with practice-based teaching methods, including team teaching and peer learning, covering methodological, media, and ethical knowledge alongside current communication technologies. The program admits 150 students per year. Quebec applicants need any DEC with a minimum college performance rating of 22. Applicants from elsewhere in Canada need a secondary school diploma plus one year of university study. International applicants need a pre-university diploma totalling 13 years of study or equivalent. The program is taught in French, with admission for the Fall term only. Non-francophone applicants must pass the TCF test with a minimum score of 600/699 on the mandatory sections and 14/20 on the written expression component. Admission is for the Fall term only, with 150 spots available annually.
