This master's programme trains specialists in public relations, promotion and media relations within the broader field of public communication. Students complete graduate coursework in communication theory and methodology and have the option of completing a professional internship. The programme is normally completed in two years of full-time study. Most courses are delivered on campus, with some offered at a distance, in hybrid format, or comodally. Admission is offered for the fall term only. It leads to a Master of Arts in public communication with a public-relations concentration, preparing graduates for roles in corporate communication, public affairs, promotion and media relations across public, private and non-profit organizations.

Admission Requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree in communication with 30 credits in public relations, a bachelor's degree in another discipline combined with a 30-credit certificate in public communication, or a combination of studies and at least one year of relevant public-relations experience deemed sufficient by the programme director. A minimum cumulative average of 3.00 on a 4.33 scale (or equivalent) is required. Non-francophone applicants must provide official French-language test results, typically a TCF score of at least 600/699 on the mandatory sections plus at least 14/20 on written expression.
