The Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) is a one-year, coursework-based program that delivers intensive graduate-level training without a full thesis requirement, preparing graduates for careers in health care, veterinary medicine, government, and biomedical, pharmaceutical, or diagnostic research. Students select a field of study aligned with their interests, with focus areas including the cellular and molecular basis of health and disease, comparative immunology and infectious disease, stem cell and regenerative medicine, veterinary sciences, neuroscience, and cancer biology; specialized tracks are available in toxicology/pharmacology and reproductive biotechnology. Delivery is on-campus (in-person). Full-time students complete the program in one year (three semesters), with a part-time option extending completion to 48 months. The program leads to the Master of Biomedical Sciences credential, with a distinct MBS+TOX designation for the toxicology specialization.
