Overview
The MSc in Marketing and Consumer Studies is a graduate program in the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics offering both a thesis-based track and a course-based Major Research Project (MRP) track. In the first year, students complete five core business courses, two research seminars and one elective. The program develops skills in managing large-scale research and analysis projects and draws applicants from consumer studies, the social sciences and humanities, marketing, finance, and real estate backgrounds. It is delivered on-campus at the University of Guelph with a single Fall intake each September. Admission requires a four-year honours Bachelor's degree, a B average from the last two years of study, and a GMAT, GMAT Focus, or GRE score report. Credential awarded: Master of Science (MSc).

Admission Requirements: A four-year honours Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) in consumer studies, the social sciences or humanities, marketing, finance, or real estate, with a minimum B average (73%) from a recognized post-secondary institution within the last 2 years. A GMAT, GMAT Focus, or GRE score report is required, with preferred scores of 550 (GMAT), 515 (GMAT Focus), or the 55th percentile (GRE).
