The Master of Medical Foundations (MMF) is an 11-month, three-semester, course-based graduate program providing theoretical and practical training in human anatomy, multisystem physiology, and disease and immunology. Students gain hands-on experience working with human body donors in the on-campus Human Anatomy Laboratory, building both the theoretical grounding and the applied dissection and laboratory skills expected of the field. The program is delivered on-campus at the University of Guelph with a single Summer intake. Admission requires a bachelor's or baccalaureate degree in science, in an honours program or the equivalent, from a recognized university, with a minimum B- average in the last two years of full-time equivalent study. Applicants whose first language is not English must submit TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo test results. Credential awarded: Master of Medical Foundations (MMF).
Requirements
Admission Requirements: A bachelor/baccalaureate of science in an honours program or the equivalent from a recognized university, with a minimum B- average in the last two years of full-time equivalent study. Applicants whose first language is not English must submit TOEFL (minimum 93, with a minimum of 22 in each of the four categories), IELTS (minimum 7.0, with a minimum of 6.5 in each component), or Duolingo (minimum overall 130, with a minimum of 120).
