Admission Requirements: This programme page defers to UNB's admission requirements tool rather than listing courses itself; for direct entry from a New Brunswick high school it requires the Bachelor of Science with a major in Environmental Sciences English 122, Pre-Calculus A 120, Pre-Calculus B 120, Chemistry 122 and one of Biology 122, Physics 122 or another provincially-approved science, plus one further elective from Group 1 or 2; the average of the marks in senior Mathematics, Chemistry and the best other science course must be at least 75%, and the overall minimum admission average is 75%. International applicants follow the same course and average requirements; those with prior post-secondary study outside Canada or the United States must submit a WES ICAP course-by-course evaluation. All international applicants must also meet UNB's standard English-language requirement unless exempt: IELTS Academic 6.5, TOEFL iBT 85 (pre-2026) or 4.5 overall with at least 4.5 in Speaking and Writing (Jan 2026+), CAEL 60, Pearson PTE 59, Cambridge English 176, or Duolingo 115. Application Deadline:Domestic and international applicants apply through UNB's own application portal by the same published dates: for Fall 2027 entry the general deadline is 31 March 2027, and for Winter 2027 entry it is 15 November 2026, with undergraduate scholarship applications due 1 March 2027. UNB continues to accept applications after these dates while seats remain in the program, so admission is effectively rolling once the deadline passes. UNB publishes no international-specific deadline distinct from these dates. Limited-enrolment programmes close earlier: the Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education (Fredericton) close 1 December 2026, and the Bachelor of Nursing closes 15 February 2027. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
