Overview

The PhD in Physics at the University of Toronto centres on original research embodied in a doctoral thesis. The department carries out research in experimental and theoretical physics across atmospheric physics, geophysics, quantum optics, condensed matter physics, subatomic physics and astrophysics, and biophysics, with opportunities to work with theorists through the Canadian Institute for Theoretical Astrophysics (CITA).
