Admission Requirements: The two-year Master of Global Affairs requires a four-year bachelor's degree in any discipline, with a minimum cumulative GPA of mid-B (3.0/4.0) and a minimum final-year GPA of B+ (3.3/4.0) calculated over the last five full credits or ten half credits of 300/400-level courses. Applicants without a Canadian degree taught in English must submit an English proficiency test score to the department; the Munk School page does not itself list minimum scores, so the university's general School of Graduate Studies minimums apply — TOEFL iBT 93 overall with at least 22 in each component, or IELTS Academic 7.0 overall with at least 6.5 in each band. No GRE or GMAT is required, though quantitative and qualitative skills are assessed through two video responses and one written response submitted via the Kira Talent platform. Applicants also submit official transcripts, two academic (or employer, if more than two years out of school) references, a 400-500 word personal statement, an optional 400-500 word diversity essay, and a CV, alongside a $130 CAD application fee. For Fall 2027 entry, applications open 28 September 2026 and are due 28 January 2027.

Application Deadline:University of Toronto uses one application deadline for domestic and international applicants alike for Fall 2027 entry: 15 January 2027 for most programmes, including Applied Science & Engineering, Arts & Science (St. George), the iSchool, Kinesiology & Physical Education, Nursing, Physician Assistant, and UTM and UTSC, with supporting documents also due 15 January 2027 (Engineering) or 1 February 2027 (most others). Medical Radiation Sciences has an extended 1 February 2027 deadline. A recommended early-application date of 7 November 2026 applies across the board, and several programmes (Rotman Commerce, Computer Science, Architecture, Kinesiology) require a supplementary component due 1 February 2027. Admission decisions are released from January through late May; UofT does not describe any programme as rolling. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
