Legal Studies Certificate

Admission Requirements: This certificate defers to VIU's General Admission Requirements for Academic Programs, published on the university's admissions page: BC secondary graduation (or equivalent) with at least a 'C' in English Studies 12 or English First Peoples 12, a prior university degree, transfer with 24+ university credits, a Letter of Permission, or academic mature-student status at 21. VIU does not publish a programme-specific English-language test table for domestic applicants; the general Degree English Requirement applies. The certificate is designed for students already enrolled in, or intending to enrol in, a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and requires 30 credits across four specified subject areas. The program runs two intakes a year, in September and January, with a non-refundable application fee of $46.98.
