Overview
The Honours Specialization in Health Sciences is offered by the School of Health Studies in Western University's Faculty of Health Sciences. Students apply to the module after completing first-year requirements and complete a 9.0-course specialization taken across the second, third, and fourth years of an Honours Bachelor's degree. Coursework combines foundational Health Sciences courses with specialized electives in research methods and ecological health, building on first-year Health Sciences and Biology courses. Admission into the module after first year requires a minimum grade of 70% in each of Health Sciences 1001A/B, 1002A/B, 1111A/B, and 1300A/B, a minimum grade of 60% in each of Biology 1001A and 1002B, and a minimum cumulative average of 70%.
