Honours Business Administration is Ivey Business School's undergraduate business program at Western University, structured as a two-plus-two model: two years of general university study followed by two dedicated business years (HBA1 and HBA2) at Ivey. Admission Requirements: Direct entry is via Ivey's Advanced Entry Opportunity (AEO) for secondary-school applicants. Ivey asks for a low 90% average in the applicant's best Grade 12 courses, including English, plus completion of a mathematics course designated for university-bound students. Beyond grades, admission weighs a supplemental application: two extracurricular-activity essays (500 words each), up to five further activities listed in point form with verified references, and a timed five-question video interview (20-30 minutes); Ivey states academics and leadership are weighted 50/50 in the decision. The AEO page itself lists no English-proficiency test scores, so non-Ontario and international applicants must instead meet Western's institution-wide policy: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, or TOEFL iBT 83 with no section below 20 (for tests before January 21, 2026), among other accepted tests, unless exempt. The AEO application deadline is January 15.

Application Deadline:Western applies through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre, which opens for Fall 2027 entry in late September 2026; Western's own equal-consideration deadline for full-time undergraduate study is 15 January 2027, the same date used for domestic (OUAC 101/105) and international applicants alike, since Western publishes no separate international closing date. Several named programmes carry their own earlier deadlines within the cycle: Medicine (MD) closes 1 October 2026, Law (JD) and Dentistry (DDS) close 1 November 2026, Education (BEd) closes 2 November 2026, and Western Integrated Science closes in early April 2027. Students already enrolled in an Ontario high school cannot be required to respond to an offer before 1 June 2027. Admission is not rolling: applicants are assessed against these published deadlines. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
