The Certificate in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Creativity is an undergraduate certificate administered by the DAN School of Drama and Music, consisting of 15.00 units that can be completed alongside another Queen's Arts and Science program (Plan Code QEIC-ENIN). Core requirements are Foundations of Entrepreneurship (ENIN 200) and Design Sprint (ENIN 400). Students then complete Creative Entrepreneurship (ENIN 301) or Technical Entrepreneurship (CHEE 302, offered through Smith Engineering), plus further option units chosen from a list of courses on design thinking, publicity and media relations, disruptive technologies, creativity, health and interprofessional topics, corporate law, and business writing. No more than 6.00 units may be counted toward both the certificate and another Arts and Science program, and no more than 6.00 units of core and option courses may be transferred from outside Queen's University. The certificate develops skills in visual storytelling for business models and concept design, flexible thinking, market and user-experience research, and structured brainstorming.
