Program details

Overview

The Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Western University is a three-term, professional, course-based degree for practising engineers looking to advance their careers and for new graduates looking to expand their technical knowledge. A part-time route extends the program to five terms. Students admitted to the full-time course-based option may request to switch to a project-based option that combines coursework with a project. The program is administered by the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering. It suits engineers who want applied, career-oriented graduate coursework built on an existing engineering degree, rather than a thesis-based research degree.
