Applicants without a four-year Honours Computer Science degree may still be eligible if they hold an equivalent four-year Honours degree with very high standing plus Computer Science 2212 (Introduction to Software Engineering), Computer Science 3340 (Analysis of Algorithms I), and two additional third- or fourth-year Computer Science courses. Applicants whose first language is not English must meet Western's proficiency requirement, for example IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no individual score below 6, or the equivalent TOEFL iBT or Duolingo English Test score.
