Overview
This program examines the forces that shape human culture, including class, race, gender, and power, drawing on perspectives from the social sciences, humanities, and arts. It must be taken in combination with another Bachelor of Arts program and leads to an Honours BA over four years of full-time study. Coursework develops critical and analytical skills for examining cultural, social, and political issues, preparing graduates for careers in advocacy, education, media, marketing, policy, and community development. Classes are delivered on campus, with intakes in September and January. Admission for Ontario secondary school applicants is based on an average in the mid-70s, including Grade 12 English at a minimum of 60%; international applicants are assessed on an equivalent average with senior secondary English at a minimum of 60%, and must have completed their three most recent years of full-time education in English without ESL coursework, or otherwise demonstrate English proficiency.

International applicants are assessed on an equivalent average (mid-70s) with senior secondary English at a minimum of 60%, and must have completed their three most recent years of full-time education in English without ESL coursework, or otherwise demonstrate English proficiency. This program must be combined with another Bachelor of Arts program.
