Overview
This four-year Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies is delivered in person at Wilfrid Laurier University, with September and January intakes. The program builds analytical, creative, and visual media literacy through the study of film theory, national and international cinemas, animation, and moving-image production, combining critical study of film history and genre with practical training in visual storytelling. Students choose electives across the Faculty of Arts and can layer on a co-op option, adding four-month work terms between academic terms, or a combined program that adds a diploma from Vancouver Film School or a Master of Arts in Film Studies.
