Gender, Sexuality & Women's Studies is a Bachelor of Arts (BA) offered by the Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies at York University's Keele and Glendon campuses. Students critically analyze gender, race, class, age, ability and sexuality and how they intersect across popular culture, everyday life, art, science, law, politics, the economy and society, both within Canada and cross-culturally. The curriculum draws on feminist and intersectional theory to examine social structures and lived experience. Both full-time and part-time study are available. The program suits students interested in social analysis, equity and advocacy work, preparing graduates for careers or further study in fields such as social policy, community and non-profit work, human rights, education, law, policy research and public service.
