The Psychology program examines the scientific study of the mind and behaviour through social, developmental, clinical, and biological perspectives, covering topics such as child development, social behaviour, memory, intelligence, motivation, personality, perception, culture, and neuroscience. Students build knowledge and skills in statistics, research methods, and theory, with hands-on learning through research, course-based labs, community projects, or an optional co-op. The program is offered as a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science; the BSc route adds prerequisite coursework in mathematics and a laboratory science. The program has been ranked among the top five in Canada and top 75 worldwide in the ShanghaiRanking Global Ranking of Academic Subjects. Intake is offered in the fall, winter, and summer terms, with full-time and part-time study options.

Admission Requirements: For Ontario Secondary School Diploma holders, the BA requires ENG4U plus five additional 4U or M courses, with an admission average in the mid-70s and a final average of 72% required to maintain the offer; the BSc requires the same English requirement plus 4U mathematics and one of SBI4U, SCH4U, or SPH4U, plus three additional 4U or M courses. Requirements vary for applicants from other Canadian provinces and international curricula.
