Overview
This programme of a year and a half prepares senior macro-financial specialists able to evaluate, shape and carry out business financial-asset policy and strategic objectives within present-day expectations around social responsibility and sustainable development. Compulsory subjects include the social responsibility of transnational corporations, methods of economic research, the global economy and sustainable development, sustainable and responsible investment, financial market intelligence systems, theories of modern economics, and the economic policy of environmental protection, alongside research work and the master's thesis. Elective subjects let students choose between regulation of economic processes, behavioural finance or international finance in the first semester, and investment risk management, social accounting and integrated reporting, or mergers and acquisitions, in the second. Delivered in Lithuanian and English, the programme builds the ability to critically assess financial phenomena, financial-market operations and their regulatory policies in a global, sustainability-focused context, and to develop and carry out an independent research methodology using up-to-date macro-financial knowledge.
