Cert in Culinary Arts and Related Services

This certificate prepares students for work as cooks and in kitchen roles such as garde manger and chef de partie. Employers include restaurants, hotels, casinos, food service operations and country clubs. Courses cover basic and advanced food preparation, baking, purchasing and cost control, menu planning and beverage management, along with safety and sanitation. Credits earned here can later be applied toward the culinary arts degree. The program sits within the School of Business & Legal Studies at Bucks County Community College, and totals 28 credit hours.
