AA/AS in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management

This degree lets students assemble a set of computing courses matched to the skills a specific job requires. It suits those whose goals are not met by other STEM job-ready or transfer majors. Depending on the courses chosen, graduates may work as programmers, web developers or network administrators, often in positions that combine several computing specialties. The major is not meant for students who plan to transfer, and students with some prior college work may enter with permission. The program belongs to the School of STEM at Bucks, and a suggested plan assumes about fifteen credit hours each semester. The major emphasizes practical preparation for work. Anyone who later wants to transfer should talk with the Transfer Services Office, since each four-year college decides what it will accept. Prospective students can ask the school office for questions about scheduling, course prerequisites and how the program fits their goals.
