MA/MS in Construction Management

Clemson's graduate construction management degree has carried STEM designation and accreditation from the national council for construction education. South Carolina approved it in 1986, making it the state's only graduate offering of its kind at the time. A distance version of the identical degree followed in 1992, so qualified students can finish a master's without ever visiting campus. Major industry groups, such as the general contractors' association and the national construction training center, have acknowledged the program. Students may write a thesis or choose a non-thesis path. Alumni qualify to apply for Clemson's doctoral program in the same field. The department also serves the building industry through outreach, research and instructional courses offered across the nation and abroad. Prospective students should review the official program pages for current details before applying.
