AA/AS in Computer Science

Computer Science is taught through the Computer Science Department on the Ammerman campus in Selden. The program gives students a grounding in programming and computing concepts that carries into upper-level study elsewhere. The program page highlights transfer opportunities specific to computer science and lists several scholarships, including an NSF-supported STEM scholarship. Students are encouraged to review these resources early when planning their path toward a bachelor's degree. Students who plan to continue at a four-year institution can review the transfer agreements Suffolk publishes for its majors. Questions about applying are handled by the Central Admissions office, which is open on weekdays during regular business hours, and each program lists a contact person for academic questions. Course listings are available online, so prospective students can compare requirements before choosing a major and speak with an advisor about next steps.
