AA/AS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technologies/Technicians

Electrical Technology - Electronics focuses on the practical skills used to install, test and maintain electrical and electronic equipment. It combines technical study with the hands-on mindset the trade requires. The program shares its academic leadership with Engineering Science, with chairs based at the Ammerman campus in Selden and the Grant campus in Brentwood. Prospective students can contact them directly, and the page links to a general overview of the college for anyone comparing programs. Students who plan to continue at a four-year institution can review the transfer agreements Suffolk publishes for its majors. Questions about applying are handled by the Central Admissions office, which is open on weekdays during regular business hours, and each program lists a contact person for academic questions. Course listings are available online, so prospective students can compare requirements before choosing a major and speak with an advisor about next steps.
