Advanced Film Production is a full-time, two-year diploma program covering the five core areas of live-action filmmaking: directing, producing, production design, cinematography, and postproduction. Students explore film history and the evolution of the craft, examine how emerging technologies shape filmmaking, and develop the skills needed to bring a creative vision to screen through hands-on production work across each of the five core areas. The program runs over six terms, and admission requires a portfolio consisting of a written submission or short video responding to prompts about films the applicant admires and wants to make, together with a highlight reel or portfolio of the applicant's own work. Graduates are prepared for entry-level production roles across directing, producing, production design, cinematography, and postproduction in the film industry.
