Micro-credential in Canadian Employment Readiness Micro-credential

Admission Requirements: The Canadian Employment Readiness micro-credential sets no mandatory academic entrance requirement; the program page only recommends English 12 or equivalent for success, without assigning a BCIT English-proficiency category or citing a standardized test score. It also recommends, but does not require, basic computer literacy (using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat, joining online discussions, searching the internet) and a reliable internet connection for live seminars. There is no formal application: an applicant completes the required Flexible Learning courses and then emails the program with their name, student number and mailing address to receive the micro-credential. No GPA, portfolio, interview or work-experience condition is stated, and the program is open to international applicants who already hold valid status in Canada. Ongoing intakes run three times a year, in January, April and September, with applications processed throughout the year.
