Micro-credential in Introduction to Full-Stack Web Development Micro-credential

Admission Requirements: Applicants to this micro-credential need completion of COMP 1002 or equivalent knowledge of PC file management, plus completion of COMP 1850 and COMP 2132, or equivalent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript. The advanced courses, COMP 3012 and COMP 3013, each require 60% in COMP 2132 or 50% in ACIT 1620. BCIT recommends, without requiring, English and math skills at Grade 12 level or equivalent and post-secondary education or work experience in business or computing; no minimum GPA or standardized English/French test score is published. Students must supply their own current-model laptop with an i5-equivalent or higher processor, at least 8 GB RAM, 256 GB of storage, and reliable high-speed internet. There is no formal application; students register for the courses and email the program contact with their name, student number and mailing address on completion.
