Brock University's Bachelor of Science in Data Sciences and Analytics is offered jointly by the Faculty of Mathematics and Science and the Goodman School of Business, and is one of only two BSc programs in Canada that combine financial analytics with computational data science. The program bridges computational data science and business analytics, building skills in programming for big data, data infrastructure, computational statistics, data mining, business analytics and management of information systems, along with data visualization and communicating business intelligence for strategic decisions. Students choose a specialization in Financial Analytics or Computational Data Sciences, the latter covering areas such as parallel computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, financial risk management and fintech. Honours and co-op options are available in both concentrations. Graduates are prepared for roles such as data scientist, big data solution architect, financial or risk analyst, data analytics consultant and predictive analytics modeller.

Admission Requirements: Ontario Secondary School applicants require English (ENG4U) and two Grade 12 U-level math courses; the Computational Data Sciences concentration additionally requires a minimum of 75% in each math course.
