Our immersive nursing degree program prepares you to be an innovative and compassionate professional who is a front-runner in addressing evolving health care needs. Cambrian’s high-tech nursing simulation lab equips you to excel in the rapidly changing, diverse, and complex health care environment. More than 1,000 hours of clinical experience in long-term care, hospital, and community health care agencies provide ample opportunities to practice the knowledge and skills learned in class. You’ll work with physicians, dietitians, physiotherapists, and other allied health providers to become a critical thinker who understands the value of teamwork and collaboration. As a graduate with a BScN degree, you can apply to become a Registered Nurse and further your education by pursuing Master’s and Doctoral studies.

Admission Requirements: Cambrian's RPN-to-BScN (in-person) pathway admits graduates of a two-year Practical Nursing diploma approved by the College of Nurses of Ontario with a cumulative programme average of 65% or higher, who hold a full, unrestricted Registered Practical Nurse licence in good standing and have worked as an RPN in Ontario within the past five years on at least a part-time or casual basis; applicants must also hold Canadian citizenship, permanent-resident status, or authorization under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act permitting nursing practice in Ontario. No standardized English-proficiency test is quoted for this route. Before clinical placements begin, admitted students must supply AODA and Worker Health and Safety Awareness training, a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (HCP) certificate, a Standard First Aid certificate, N95 fit-testing, an annual vulnerable-sector criminal record check, WHMIS certification, and a full immunization record including a two-step TB test, MMR, varicella, Tdap, influenza, hepatitis B and up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination.

Application Deadline:Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for programmes starting September 2027 the application opens 26 September 2026 and the equal-consideration date is 1 February 2027, after which applications are assessed first-come, first-served while seats remain. Cambrian's own 2026-27 Academic Schedule A separately sets a Day-3 last-day-to-apply cut-off for every program each term - 13 January 2027 for the January 2027 intake and 12 May 2027 for the May 2027 intake - with transcripts in hand and the non-refundable deposit ready before Day 5. International applicants apply through the OCAS International Application Service (up to three Cambrian programmes) or an authorised agent and are reviewed individually; Cambrian publishes no fixed international closing date. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
