Le baccalauréat de quatre ans, spécialisé en administration des affaires est soigneusement conçu pour soutenir le développement de la personne en professionnel polyvalent. Un amalgame de cours d’affaires et de filières spécialisés favorise l’exploration et l’acquisition de connaissances et de compétences fondamentales et innovantes essentielles pour prospérer dans son cheminement de carrière. L’ensemble du programme repose sur une formation équilibrée en leadership et gestion, permettant ainsi à la personne diplômée de trouver un emploi dans divers domaines, notamment en affaires générales, en comptabilité, et en ressources humaines. Les quatre premières étapes favorisent le développement des connaissances fondamentales du domaine des affaires. Dans cet atelier d’écoute et d’expression orale de niveau intermédiaire, les étudiants participeront à des activités pratiques visant à améliorer leurs compétences en communication orale, axées sur la prise de parole en public, les techniques de présentation et les discussions individuelles. Ils participeront activement à diverses activités interactives visant à perfectionner leurs compétences d’écoute et d’expression orale. Grâce à des activités stimulantes, des jeux de rôle et des présentations collaboratives, les participants amélioreront leur prononciation et apprendront à adopter des stratégies de communication verbale et non verbale efficaces. L’atelier constitue un cadre dynamique dans lequel les étudiants peuvent s’exercer à parler dans des situations réelles, ce qui leur permet de prendre confiance en eux grâce aux commentaires et à l’interaction avec leurs pairs. Ce programme forme des diplômées et diplômés capables d’exercer leurs activités selon les pratiques en matière de santé et sécurité au travail, de durabilité de l’environnement et d’éthique, ainsi que dans le respect des lois, des normes et des codes en vigueur. Les personnes diplômées possèdent les habiletés requises pour contribuer à la planification et à la mise en œuvre de projets de construction et appliquer les concepts de sciences, d’ingénierie et de mathématiques essentiels, tout en intégrant l’emploi des technologies propres au secteur de la construction. L’étudiante ou l’étudiant apprend les bonnes techniques de communication qui facilitent les conférences d’arrangements funéraires au préalable et au besoin, explique la gamme d’options de services et de dispositions funéraires, les services de préarrangement et de préfinancement, de même que les produits et les marchandises disponibles. De plus, l’objectif est d’exécuter efficacement tous les processus de préparation cadavérique, incluant l’embaumement artériel et la restauration cadavérique, puis de diriger les services funéraires et de gérer les périodes de visites de manière respectueuse et avec délicatesse selon les diversités culturelles et religieuses. Dans le cadre de sa formation, l’étudiante ou l’étudiant postule un stage rémunéré d’un an dans un établissement funéraire, ce qui permet de mettre en pratique les aspects théoriques et d’acquérir de l’expérience, tout en répondant aux critères de l’organisme de réglementation. Après avoir terminé le stage et satisfait à tous les critères du Collège et de l’organisme de réglementation, la personne peut se présenter aux examens provinciaux d’agrément. Possibilité de stage seulement en Ontario ou au Nouveau-Brunswick (14 mois), ou en fonction d’un accord de réciprocité d’une autre province, lequel pour être établi à l’avenir. Échographie diagnostique (Post Diplôme) Health, Food & Medical 3 semesters On-campus English
L’étudiant ou l’étudiante se familiarise avec la visualisation de l’anatomie à trois dimensions et y développe son raisonnement spatial. Il ou elle apprend à déterminer les divers plans de coupe acquis en échographie. Cela permet de faire la distinction entre les données normales ou anormales et de déterminer l’orientation de la sonde échographique en relation avec l’image diagnostique et la partie de l’anatomie étant interrogée. En laboratoire, l’étudiant ou l’étudiante développe la technique main-œil, ce qui lui permet d’obtenir des images diagnostiques échographiques de qualité, tout en respectant le principe ALARA. Par le biais d’études de cas, chacun apprend à faire une analyse des données et à pratiquer la rédaction d’une impression technique en fonction de données fournies provenant d’examens échographiques variés, et ce, de façon à assurer une interprétation juste par un radiologue. Les concepts enseignés dans ce cours sont renforcés par des activités d’apprentissage et celles pratiquées en laboratoire entourant la prise d’images diagnostiques échographiques relatives aux organes et structures suivantes : le rétropéritoine, les gros vaisseaux, le pancréas, le foie, les voies et la vésicule biliaire permettant de faire le lien entre la qualité de l’examen et les concepts de la physique et de l’instrumentation. L’étudiante ou l’étudiant met en pratique les principes ergonomiques tout au long des examens.
