This pathway lets personal support workers build on their health care careers toward a Practical Nursing diploma. Seven online pathway courses lead to eligibility for advanced entry into semester two of the in-person Practical Nursing program delivered on campus in Sudbury. Once enrolled, students practice clinical skills in the college's high-tech nursing lab and work alongside health care professionals in the community. Graduates may sit the College of Nurses of Ontario certification exam and seek registration as a Registered Practical Nurse.

International applicants apply through the OCAS International Application Service (up to three Cambrian programmes) or an authorised agent and are reviewed individually; Cambrian publishes no fixed international closing date.
