Cert in Early Childhood Administration

Early Childhood Administration is an Advanced Certificate offered by Saskatchewan Polytechnic, made up of individual courses with delivery and start dates that vary, primarily through online and distance study, with some courses including on-site labs, clinical, or work-experience components. The program prepares administrators and directors of early learning and child care organizations, covering the administrative role of overseeing a safe and developmentally appropriate curriculum, supporting and mentoring staff, and building relationships with families, community partners, and other professionals, alongside business, leadership, and management practices for operating early learning programs. Admission requires an Early Childhood Education diploma or Early Childhood Education Level III certification as assessed by Saskatchewan's Ministry of Education; the English language proficiency requirement is waived on the basis of this prerequisite credential. The program is related to Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Early Childhood Education diploma.
