Arts, Letters and Communication - Theatre is a two-year pre-university diploma (DEC) combining the general Arts, Letters and Communication curriculum with a theatre concentration. Students develop performance skills through workshops in voice, gesture, and interpretation, alongside coursework in literature, cinema, media, art history, and languages. In the second year, students mount a complete theatrical production presented to the public, taking on both performance roles and production responsibilities such as costumes, sets, and communications. The diploma prepares students for university studies in theatre, performing arts, or related fields, or for further training in professional theatre programmes. It is delivered over two years of full-time study and is one of three streams offered under the college's Arts, Letters and Communication programme, alongside separate Creative Writing and Languages concentrations.
