Electrical Engineering Technology - Networks and Telecommunications (Cybersecurity Stream) is a three-year technical diploma (DEC) covering information technology with a focus on telecommunications, computer networks, cybersecurity, virtualization, and electronics. Students learn to understand, implement, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot information-technology equipment and systems, with a cybersecurity component covering how to secure deployed technology environments against computer attacks. More than two-thirds of training takes place in laboratories, and the college is described as the only institution east of Quebec City recognized as a Cisco Academy. Graduates receive a Diplome d'etudes collegiales qualifying them to work as network and telecommunications technologists. The programme is delivered over three years of full-time study, combining theory courses with the heavy laboratory component described above.
