Overview
Administration des reseaux et securite informatique is an AEC continuing-education program at Cegep Marie-Victorin covering network administration and information-security skills for technical-support and security roles in private and public organizations. Coursework covers programming, technical support, computer networking, and information security, delivered full-time in person at the college's Pavillon Namur over four sessions totalling fifteen months. The program includes a 180-hour workplace internship and international graduates are eligible for a post-graduation work permit. Admission requires training judged sufficient by the college together with one of the standard AEC eligibility conditions: an interruption of full-time study or full-time post-secondary study for at least two consecutive sessions or one school year; an agreement between the college and an employer, or coverage under a government programme; an interruption of one session followed by one session of post-secondary study; or holding a Diplome d'etudes professionnelles. Candidates must pass the college's French pre-selection test; a basic office-software test is administered after admission but is not itself an admission criterion. The next intake begins in the winter 2027 session.
