Overview
Sciences, lettres et arts, DEC 700.A1, is a two-year interdisciplinary pre-university program at the Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe, the only cégep in the Montérégie region to offer it. Admission Requirements: Admission requires a Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) with Secondary 5 Technical and Scientific (TS) or Natural Science (SN) mathematics, or Mathematics 536, plus Secondary 5 Chemistry (or Chemistry 534) and Secondary 5 Physics (or Physics 534). As with all Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe programs, applicants apply through SRAM and must meet the college's French-proficiency conditions: a French-mastery or placement test where applicable, and the upgrading course 601-013-HY for weaker Secondary 5 French results, per the Cégep's admission-requirements page; every admitted student also sits the college's English placement test.
