This Attestation d'etudes collegiales (AEC) programme trains early childhood educators to work with children aged 0 to 12 in childcare centres (CPE) and educational daycares. Students learn to respond to children's basic needs, support their overall development, and design, organize and lead stimulating activities, while collaborating with a child's family and broader support network. Graduates are prepared to take on the responsibilities of an early childhood educator, contributing to children's development and well-being. The programme is delivered 100% online on a full-time, daytime schedule over 18 months. Two admission pathways are offered: a paid work-study (COUD) track combining coursework with employment in a childcare setting, and a standard track without an employment requirement. On completion, graduates receive an AEC credential (JEE.0K) and are qualified to work as early childhood educators in childcare centres and daycares.
