Program details

Overview

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Cégep du Vieux Montréal's admission page for this double DEC (Optimonde profile) points to the college's general admission conditions and adds three secondary-level prerequisites specific to the programme: Mathématiques TS 5e, SN 5e or Mathématiques 536; Chimie 5e or Chimie 534; and Physique 5e or Physique 534. No minimum grade is published for these courses. Domestic applicants otherwise need a Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) or equivalent and apply through the SRAM portal (admission.sram.qc.ca), which ranks candidates on Secondary 4 and 5 results. Applicants who were not schooled in French in Quebec must pass the college's own French-proficiency test (oral and written comprehension, grammar, composition); no minimum score is published. International applicants need a diploma equivalent to the DES (11 to 13 years of schooling, or a recognised 11-year record or baccalauréat for French-medium systems) plus these same course prerequisites, and apply via admission.sram.qc.ca with the CAD 85 SRAM fee.
