Ce programme préuniversitaire de deux ans (DEC 500.AE) propose une formation équilibrée en arts, lettres et communication, avec au Cégep Gérald-Godin une spécialisation en cinéma et médias. On y étudie le cinéma, l'histoire de l'art et les communications tout en réalisant des productions artistiques, médiatiques et cinématographiques à l'aide d'équipement de pointe. Le programme prépare aux études universitaires en cinéma, médias, communications, relations publiques, journalisme et études littéraires, et donne aussi accès au droit, à l'éducation et à la plupart des disciplines des sciences humaines. Offert en français, avec admission par le SRAM.

Admission Requirements: The programme page for Arts, lettres et communication (Multidisciplinaire option) states verbatim that admission requires only meeting Cegep Gerald-Godin's general admission conditions and that no other specific prerequisite is necessary. For Quebec residents that general standard is a Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES), applied for exclusively through the SRAM regional admission service. International applicants need a diploma SRAM judges equivalent to the DES, and, since instruction is entirely in French, must pass a French test accepted by SRAM if their prior schooling was not in French; after admission they must obtain a CAQ, a Canadian study permit, and valid Canadian health and hospitalization insurance. The page states no portfolio, audition or interview requirement for this option.

International applicants also apply through SRAM, which sets a fixed March 14 deadline for Automne entry, though Cegep Gerald-Godin separately and strongly recommends international applicants submit by February 1 to help ensure an August start; no exceptions are made once SRAM's deadline passes, so admission is round-based for domestic candidates and firm for international ones. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
