This AEC (attestation d'études collégiales) programme trains biopharmaceutical-process professionals responsible for the smooth operation and quality of production processes in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical sectors. Coursework covers industrial-scale manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products, in-process sampling and quality control, contribution to process validation, problem-solving, and ongoing regulatory compliance. Delivered on campus on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., the programme suits candidates who enjoy using measurable standards to identify and solve problems, working hands-on with equipment and instruments, and operating with precision in a health-related field. Admission requires training judged sufficient by the cégep together with an interruption of full-time studies of at least two consecutive sessions or one school year, or an equivalent condition such as a Diploma of Vocational Studies. Candidates must also have successfully completed Grade 11 mathematics. Graduates can work across companies using dry- or wet-form, sterile or non-sterile manufacturing processes, bioprocesses, and packaging, in sectors including natural health products, cosmetics, cannabis processing, and medical devices, and may progress to team-lead or supervisory roles.
