Estimation en travaux de construction et de rénovation is an AEC (Attestation d'études collégiales) programme, offered in collaboration with Cégep de Rimouski, that trains students to estimate costs and coordinate bidding for construction and renovation projects. Coursework covers applied construction mathematics, structural and architectural plan and specification reading, cost estimation for materials, labour, and equipment, analysis of subcontractor and supplier bids for specification compliance, tender preparation and submission, project scheduling, and computerized data processing for cost and quantity tracking. The programme is delivered full-time in hybrid format (in-person and remote) at the Saint-Jean campus, over 945 hours (10 months). A personal computer meeting minimum specifications is required for the remote components. Graduates are prepared to work as estimators for architecture and engineering firms, construction and insurance companies, and property developers and contractors.
