Gestion et technologies d'entreprise agricole (GTEA) is a technical DEC that prepares students to manage and grow an agricultural business specializing in either crop or animal production. Coursework combines classroom learning with hands-on work on the land, developing the skills needed to start a new agricultural enterprise, take over an existing one, or work as an advisor for agriculture-related organizations. Students choose between two profiles: the animal-production profile covers herd-production planning, animal nutrition, and health, reproduction, and welfare, along with the buildings, equipment, and management practices suited to different species; the plant-production profile covers crop establishment and maintenance, soil and input management, crop protection, greenhouse and controlled-environment management, and market-garden and horticultural techniques. Both profiles include practical activities in which students analyze and adjust production performance against defined goals. The college's page notes that new, more modern greenhouse facilities are planned to support the program, intended to give students a more contemporary hands-on learning environment.
