At Collège Boréal in Sudbury, Canada, BA/BS in Baccalauréat en sciences infirmières is offered as a bachelor's degree in Nursing programme. The programme runs for 4 years, delivered on campus. Tuition for international students is CAD 16,677 per year (CAD 6,481 per year for local students).
The Baccalauréat en sciences infirmières is a four-year, French-language undergraduate nursing degree at Collège Boréal delivered on campus over eight semesters. The first two semesters build foundational knowledge in anatomy, nursing fundamentals and psychology; semesters three and four add clinical placements alongside specialized nursing courses; semesters five and six move into advanced clinical practice covering mental health, pediatric and perinatal care; and the final two semesters address complex health problems, leadership and an integration stage that consolidates learning before graduation. Instruction combines classroom, laboratory and supervised clinical components across affiliated healthcare settings such as hospitals, public health clinics and community organizations. The curriculum emphasizes therapeutic relationships with individuals, families, groups and communities, attention to social determinants of health and equity, and collaboration as part of an interprofessional care team. The program prepares graduates to work as registered nurses providing care to diverse patient populations. It suits French-speaking or bilingual students pursuing a nursing career who want a francophone college pathway to a bachelor's-level nursing credential rather than a diploma.
